I doubt anyone would put a bumper sticker on their car that says, "Follow me, I’m smarter than God!" It’s a ridiculous illustration, but it raises the question, when we live as if we are "wide in our own eyes" and ignore God’s direction for our life, isn’t it pretty much like the bumper sticker?
